The ESL Transition Program is designed for students who need some English training before they begin their USA degree studies. The ESL Transition Program at Florida Southern College combines English language courses with university entry in the USA.
When you enroll in the ESL Transition Program, you will be automatically accepted to Florida Southern College (FSC), that means from day one, you will be a real FSC student at a highly ranked USA university.


The ESL Transition Program at Florida Southern College is housed at the Center for English Proficiency and Academic Success (CEPAS). CEPAS provides more than just basic English studies. The program includes university preparation courses for university entry to Florida Southern College. All ESL students are full members of the FSC student body.


As an ESL student, you will live on FSC’s campus with other international students and enjoy college life with have full access to all of the amenities and activities offered by the College.


In the ESL Transition Program, you will learn advanced English, American culture and tips for academic success. After one or two semesters of English courses and university preparation, you will start your degree studies at Florida Southern College.


You are guaranteed partial scholarships for your ESL Transition Program and Florida Southern College degree programs.

Direct Entry to Bachelor and Masters program

For students who are assessed with the correct academic qualifications from their own country and meeting the English language entry requirements of Florida Southern College there is opportunity for direct entry to an appropriate degree program.
